2012
I have to say that 2011 was a pretty eventful year. I celebrated the new year in Bombay after so many years, which in itself was amazing. This was the first year where I was away from home for nearly the entirety of it. Spending my summer in Boston was definitely worth it and I learned a lot. I learned to cook a little bit, though others would say otherwise since I still burn my eggs. I found out that I really enjoy yoga and have continued to do it past the “two week phase.” I also had the opportunity to sit second row in TD Garden for a Drake concert!! Throughout the year, I got unexpectedly closer to a lot of cool people. And finally, I survived CORE, which is supposedly the hardest, most brutal semester for any SMG student.
But now that it’s 2012, there are new things I want to focus on. I want to travel more this year and go to places that I have never been; I guess Panama next week is a good start. I want to start deciding where I want to be professionally, and am hoping that my spring internship will provide me with a strong basis. I want to have an exciting, eventful summer. I turn 21 this year and I want to take full advantage! I also want to do a lot better in school because my classes are ones that I have chosen and have an interest in. I want to be more talkative and get to know people better. When I want to say something, I’m going to try not to hesitate and just say it. Most importantly, I want to spend a lot of great moments with friends and family who are already in my life and make some of the best memories. I have a good feeling about this yearrr!
